Terms & Conditions

Booking Confirmation & Payments

  • A 20% down payment is required to secure your reservation.

  • The remaining balance must be settled at least 7 days before departure.

  • Last-minute bookings (within 7 days of departure) require full payment upon booking.

  • Haraya is not responsible for any transactional or bank charges incurred during payment.

  • Accepted payment methods: PayPal, bank transfer, or cash (collected only by an authorized Haraya representative).

  • Late payments may result in automatic cancellation of the reservation without prior notice.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Cancellation Within 14 days of departure: A cancellation fee of ₱1,500 will be charged.

  • 7 days or less before the trip: No refund.

  • No-shows or late arrivals: No refund will be issued.

  • Cancellations due to bad weather or safety concerns: The trip will be rescheduled to a later date for the safety of all guests.

Changes & Departure Delays

  • If a one-day departure delay is announced less than 14 days before your original trip, refunds or rescheduling are not available. However, if we inform you more than 14 days in advance, you may choose to refund or reschedule at no extra cost, and the ₱1,500 change fee will be waived.

  • In the event a tour is rescheduled, Haraya is under no obligation to amend or rebook any external hostel or accommodation reservations. Any changes to third-party bookings are the sole responsibility of the Client and may incur additional costs.

Rebooking & Changes

  • Rescheduling outside 14 days of departure: A rebooking fee of ₱1,500 applies and price difference applies.

  • One-Time Free Rebooking: Guests are entitled to one complimentary rebooking if requested at least 14 days before departure and due to valid emergencies, such as:

  • Medical emergencies

  • Flight cancellations

  • Death or serious illness of an immediate family member
    Note: Documentation may be required. Rebooking is subject to availability, and any price difference for the new dates must be settled by the guest.

  • Departure date flexibility: Haraya reserves the right to adjust the departure date by up to one day due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather or operational requirements. This adjustment is not eligible for a refund or free reschedule.

  • If the departure date is moved beyond one day and the trip does not proceed, guests are entitled to a full refund or a reschedule without fees.

General Conditions

  • Guests must ensure all personal and travel information provided during booking is accurate.

  • A valid government-issued ID must be presented before departure.

  • Guests are required to arrive on time at the designated meeting point; late arrivals may result in forfeiture of the trip without refund.

  • It is the guest’s responsibility to inform Haraya of any medical conditions or special requirements in advance.

  • Guests are expected to comply with local regulations and safety protocols during the trip.

  • By joining the trip, the Guest grants Haraya the right to capture and use any photos, videos, or media taken during the experience for marketing, advertising, and social media purposes, without the need for further consent or compensation.

Accommodations

  • All accommodations provided during the trip are on a shared basis unless otherwise specified. Room or cabin assignments are arranged by Haraya based on availability and group size. Private accommodations may be requested in advance, subject to availability and applicable surcharges.

Itinerary

  • Haraya reserves the right to amend, modify, or adjust any itinerary at any time before or during the trip in response to weather conditions, safety concerns, operational requirements, or other circumstances beyond its control. Such amendments shall not constitute grounds for refunds, compensation, or claims of liability.

Mandatory Briefing Attendance

  • Attending the pre-trip briefing is essential for your safety and trip preparation. Guests who are unable to attend will unfortunately be considered a no-show, as participation in the briefing is required to join the expedition.

Baggage & Personal Belongings

  • The Company shall not be held liable for any loss, theft, or damage to baggage or personal belongings of the Client during the trip. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Company will undertake a reasonable internal investigation upon notification of such an incident; however, this does not constitute acceptance of liability or create any obligation for compensation.

Transfer of Booking

  • If the original guest is unable to join the expedition, the slot may be transferred to another person, provided:

  • We are notified at least 14 days before departure

  • The new participant agrees to the same terms

  • The schedule remains the same (no rebooking)

  • Payments made are non-refundable, but the slot is transferable once

Travel Insurance

  • Haraya highly recommends that all guests secure comprehensive travel insurance prior to their trip. Insurance coverage can help protect against unforeseen circumstances such as:

  • Trip cancellations or delays

  • Medical emergencies or accidents

  • Lost or damaged baggage

  • Natural disasters or force majeure events

  • Please check with your insurance provider to ensure the policy covers adventure activities and the destination of your trip.

Force Majeure

  • Haraya shall not be held liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or any delay in performance, due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters (e.g., typhoons, earthquakes, floods)

  • Government regulations or travel restrictions

  • Political unrest, strikes, or civil disturbances

  • Public health emergencies or pandemics

  • In such cases, Haraya reserves the right to reschedule the trip to a later date or issue a travel credit for future use. Refunds in these situations will be assessed on a case-by-case basis in line with operational costs already incurred.

  • In the event that the designated vessel becomes unavailable for any reason, Haraya will make all reasonable efforts to provide a suitable alternative of comparable standard. Such substitution shall not constitute grounds for liability, refund, or compensation.

Safety & Preparedness

  • Medical Requirements: The Client is responsible for bringing any necessary personal medications. Haraya provides only basic first aid kits and does not supply prescription or specialized medical items.

  • Medical Evacuations & Treatment: All costs related to medical evacuation, emergency transport, or treatment incurred during the trip are the sole responsibility of the Client and are not covered by Haraya.

  • Equipment & Standards: Haraya warrants that all vessels and equipment used meet applicable safety and operational standards.

  • Health & Emergency Preparedness: The Client affirms they are in sufficient physical condition to undertake the trip and agree to follow all safety instructions issued by Haraya staff.

  • Guest Responsibilities: The Client agrees to adhere to all safety protocols, instructions, and guidelines issued during the trip. Haraya reserves the right to refuse service to any Client who endangers themselves, others, or property.

  • Environmental & Cultural Safety: The Client agrees to respect and preserve the natural environment and cultural heritage sites visited during the trip. Bring coral/ ocean safe sunscreen.

​Solaya collects and processes personal information in compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and applicable regulations. By booking and participating in the trip, the Client consents to the collection, use, and storage of their personal data for purposes related to booking management, safety, legal compliance, and marketing. Personal data shall not be disclosed to third parties except as required by law or necessary for trip operations.
